UAD Infotainment Question
Got this installed, although car not put back together yet (too dark, too cold). So far so good. @Blacks18 - There's interference (like a tone) coming from the AUX to USB when the volume is turned up but with no audio playing, it's probably still there with audio but not as noticeable, anything like that on yours? Might be a duff dongle, will contact UAD tomorrow.

Might need a ground loop isolator, something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019393MV2
ground loop because they are connect to the same power not because you have not reinstalled it. Just saw a usb ground loop isolator on Amazon for about $30 so not too bad
Nearly sorted. The ground loop isolator worked a treat, thank you.
How are you all routing the AUX cable under the armrest? It's looking like you'd need to make hole to get it into the armrest without seeing any cable? If so I'd probably get a mountable female AUX to try and keep it looking neat.

Mine has a plastic section that pops open, and I routed it through there…didn’t snap it back into place real hard so it looks good but just resting in place…haven’t decided if I’m going to cut out or drill a hole for the line eventually.
I don't think mine has the same plastic section. I ended up popping out the media panel and removing the 12v power outlet that I don't use, my thought being to replace it with a flush mount USB extension for wired Android Auto & the AUX to USB adaptor. This sort of thing.
I went ahead and bought one but for some reason the AUX to USB adaptor provided (for MY18) didn't work running through this (maybe the cable ended up being too long, not sure). So might go for something like this instead.
Just means I can't hide away this clunky AUX to USB adaptor and it'll have to sit under the armrest plugged into this flush mount AUX/USB extension.
One question. I noticed my phone is not charging with when connected to the IDCORE. Do you see the same?
Cheers.

Hmm that is weird. My phone def charges when attached to the idcore usb port, although I only use it when I pair the phone for the first time…which I just did after updating the unit from UAD download. Sorry about having different pieces under the arm rest…I’m sure it’s cause I’m across the pond lol
I was actually getting the black screen of death every other time I started the car…so I recently just re-installed the update, and it’s not doing that anymore…but still no real improvement of the waz and google map occasionally getting stuck.
That's interesting, thank you. I'm getting that too. I'll get onto UAD for the update.
If your asking me, did I have this installed in my car, no. I didn't do it yet. My car is in winter storage at this time, probably until May 2023.
I suggest you contact NAVIKS personally and ask them whatever you need to know to make your decision. They are in Brooklyn NY and your in Florida so they can ship to you very fast, I'm sure. Let us know if you get it put into your car. Good luck!
Well I got the black screen a few times again, I do have an email into UAD about the issue, hopefully they have a fix. It never did this prior to updating.
By the way I always wondered what anyone would use the HDMI port for. I also saw a brand new MY23 car without it and only with the two USB ports so maybe they also dropped that or it was optional
