I recently bought a 2014 Jaguar F-TYpe S and the dealer says that the shield under the engine is missing. The front shield under the front bumper is attached, but the shield under the engine, and transmission? is missing. How do I identify this shield and where (besides a Jaguar dealer) could I source one?

 

Looks like it is part number T2R9966. From a dealer looks like about $500. Ebay has one for $250 with a "slight" crack:

Retail price is $600 and the online price is $500 as RGP says. If you can get the cracked one, a simple fiberglass patch on the top side to reinforce it will make it good as new. (Actually stronger than new.)

 

don’t forget to get all the hardware as well. I just went thru that too.
