Default Unused connector near battery

I recently replaced the battery in my 2016 F-Type V6 std. There is an unused, two-conductor cable dangling in the vicinity of the positive battery terminal. I don't recall having disconnected it and can't locate any suitable socket for this cable nearby. I would appreciate any clarification on it's function or where it should be connected.

It's used for transport of the car and never again so you can just leave it.

You can but there is a blank socket that plug should be in.
Here is where that plug goes on the XJ which has rear air suspension. I don't know where the F-Type stores it?

Cut a finger off a nitrile glove, cover the un-used connector, and zip-tie it securely. So that none of the electrons fall out!
