Default V8 S smoking and running rough

Im a new Jaguar owner now for 3 weeks ., I bought a 2015 V8 S with 10,800 on it and have driving it about 200 miles since I got it. I took it to work yesterday 10 mile commute and when I jumped in at the end of the day it started and sounded like it was on 7 cylinders and was white smoking pretty bad from the tail pipes ., CEL on, I called the local Jag dealer and drove it over and dropped it off. I doubt O2 sensors would do this., I first thought was oil in the cylinder but that would have to be something pretty catastrophic, Car Fax is clean and I bought it from a Land Rover dealer. any ideas ? , I’ll post when I hear from the dealer

I sincerely hope that you purchased a CPO warranty with it.

White "smoke" is generally coolant turning into steam in the engine/exhaust system. And feels like it's running on 7 cylinders - sounds like a blown or leaking head gasket.

I got the call from Jaguar this morning and they said it was a failed #7 injector , they ordered it and sounds like they may replace the left bank 4 injectors, Says I’ll get it back Wednesday. I’ll ask for the CEL codes when I pick up the car.

I had noticed black residue on the garage floor since day one of owning it , condensation from the exhaust.
