So i had quick question, been searching the forum with little success. What is the primary difference between the two V8S V8R vert. Besides the Hp and tq bump on the V8R. Is there any mechanical difference between the two.
V8S: 2wd only, hydraulic assisted steering, 495hp (same engine hardware as V8R, software tune), minor visual differences with the hood vents (higher and centered on V8S. Also black on mine).
V8R: 4wd only, electric assisted steering, 550hp (software tune), lower and wider body colored hood vents, more aggressively styled lower door fenders.
The car itself is not lower or wider. I'm talking about the hood vents. Take a look at these two photos. Notice the more aggressive side skirts on the V8R and the different hood vent location and color.
Depends whether or not you are comparing a V8S to a V8R RWD or a V8R AWD.....if both are RWD then the difference is limited to the engine software and any other year to year changes...if you are talking about the AWD, then there is that system and the related changes (engine slightly higher in the chassis, different hood/vents and wider sill trim)
I actually knew about the torque vectoring...on side note just ordered my quicksilver exhaust so that should make for some fun. Is it a pretty straight forward install
