Question Valve Cover Gasket Replacement @ 43k miles?
I experienced alternator failure due to oil leakage from a valve cover gasket on my 2017 F-Pace (35t Prestige).This is troubling in itself since the car only has 43k miles. What makes me suspicious is that the service rep says BOTH valve cover gaskets are leaking. At the same time? My first thought is manufacturing defect.
Does anybody have experience with this problem? Is there a TSB or a secret warranty?
