Thanks for that! I really wanted to see how the black plates look on the white coupes. I think the current basic California white plate blends into the background on a white coupe which is great, but it is pretty generic. I was afraid the black plate on the white coupe might be too much.

Would you be able to post a high def picture of the front mounted plate as well if you have it mounted (on the Sto and Show) would be perfect. It probably blends in a lot better in the front than the back.

Thanks!

If I weren't so attached to my current tag, I'd consider:

BAD CAT or possibly MAD CAT

Will do. I also have the Sto and Show, I thought I was going to be taking the plate off more often, but the black legacy plates blend in pretty well.

I have actually ordered the plates way before placing an order for the car.

How do you order a tag before you have a VIN to go with it?

California DMV has web ordering - you can even buy as a gift for someone. No VIN required to order. Once you receive vanity plates, you take them and the plates you are replacing to a DMV office (surrendering old plates).

I'm totally torn on what I'm going to put on my F-Type. Sadly I'm limited to 7 characters here. Here are my candidates so far:

VILLAIN
OMGWEEE (the plate on the car the F-Type is replacing)
GD2BBAD
ROAR
VILINUS
WAT
ICANHAZ
SELLOUT
0101010
DEFIANT
NVRFTIN
DROPOUT
NOTSPDG

For California, you can go to the California DMV Website, enter in your personalized plate. If its available, it will arrive at the DMV location of your choice. Then once you get notification of it being there, you swap your regular plates with the personalized ones, in my case the Legacy Plates.

Since this thread was started I have changed my vanity plate to something a little more relevant to this particular car. Since the car is Blue Sapphire, its new plate reads

BRBLUCAT
