When I bought the car on the left years ago, I got that vanity plate for fun - most of you will recognize the Joe Walsh reference. And when I bought the car on the right last year and saw the published specs, well, I just couldn't resist.
Anytime you use the name of your car in your plate, you start to run the risk of looking like this douche in his red zl1 red zl1 red zl1.
Vanity plates are fun, not for me, but great. I've dabbled what mine might be, but then get bored. My Black plates with yellow lettering and only 6 letters from CA are GREAT, and people *think* they're vanity because "KO" is in it. lol
I always wondered if "VNTYPL8" was taken. Surely it is.
But your comment... no disrespect to *anyone*, but I've never understood why someone would have a badged car, then get a license plate frame that says the same thing. Lexus drivers do this quite often. To add a plate on top of that would make me think the driver is quite literally insane.

Anyone in California order the black and yellow Lagacy Plates and received them? I placed my order back in May and haven't received a letter or notice that that have arrived at the DMV. However I know that they have processed it because my plate number sequence is no longer available when I try to input it again on the DMV Website
So odd CA DMV.... I got mine within 3 weeks. They look great. That's not personalized. My Jeep is B234KO. They are only 6, and people look at them weird, because they look sorta personalized. Pardon the pre-car wash shot.
