Forged wheels prices are just crazy. Knowing the logistics behind it there's no other way really. If someone could crack the code on low volume forgings it'd be a game changer.

Ha, That is certainly questionable.
I have tried to buy a Model S twice including putting money down but couldn't do it. The interior is horrible for a 100k car even with all the cool tech. The I-Pace might be a viable option as they are giving them away due to the train wreck marketing they've done on them. Plus they have a much better interior. For just a commuter its a good option.

It's a choice between a computer on wheels, or a driver's car with a computer.

I'm subscribed to your channel. Appreciate the content. There's not much out there on the F-Type besides the car reviews. I enjoy seeing one get modded for the street. I'd recommend the TCU tune next. You'll enjoy the increase in responsiveness.
There will be no keeping the peace! I wasn’t considering new cats as I thought I was making enough noise with the V8 wide open; however, after considering the noise the neighbor kids make in the pool, I’m rethinking it...appreciate the video and feedback.

Well....I made some progress this afternoon. Got the car up on the lift. Bought an O2 Sensor Socket, have my 15mm Torque Adapter, and some Permatex Nickel 2400 degree Anti-Seize. I have removed all of the front (Cat to headers) bolts, but the very first one is going to have to be cut off! As it was being removed, it started getting tighter, and then feels stripped. Will just use a nut splitter and then buy a new nut. Otherwise, I would have likely gotten them all removed today!. I Will need to remove more of the exhaust (or drop it) so I can pull them out. Sprayed all bolts/nuts with PB Blaster, and it sure helped. But for the one nut cross-threading/stripping, was not too bad. Take off the extra plates and there is plenty of room with the right tools. More to come, but took some pics that may help anyone trying this...

Great. When I am done (hopefully by the weekend?)...I will try to put together a proper DIY with directions etc., as I typically do for other mods on here. I just need to find a replacement nut, for the one I had to cut off last night. I now have all O2's disconnected and the Cats free from the headers...Just have to get them pulled out of the center clamps, and re-install the new VAP ones.

Take care,
DC

Awesome! Thanks for the pictures. Sorry to hear that one is giving you grief. Hope it at least dies a respectable and quick death. Sounds like you attacked it in a similar way to what I was planning.

Looking forward to any other tips or DIY guide you come up with.

OK...They are all installed and sound great! (AND LOUD). Was able to get a replacement nut at Advance Auto for the one I cut off. While I have it up, I decided to take off and rust-proof the black supports under the car that everyone sees rusting!

Letting the pieces dry overnight and will finish buttoning it up in the AM. They are a snug fit and you need to shimmy them around a bit...And the center clamps are a bitch to get off and are technically a 1-time-use...But they sealed back up really well, and I do not hear any leaks so far.

I will take more photos as I put it back together and when I get the time, will create a DIY PDF.

OK...Everything is back together, and running GREAT!. Holy Sh#t, does it sound badass(er). When you turn off Sport mode, it still maintains a calm, sophisticated demeanor...But in sport mode, it is a different car. Took it for a ride, and it sounds awesome. In normal mode there is absolutely ZERO drone. In Sport, no drone either, just loud as hell...And when you press the pedal down, it wakes up even more (and wakes you up ).

While I had it up, I took off the 3 big black support members that rust and sanded and sprayed them with rust proofing black paint too!

Took lots of photos, and going to try to start putting together a DIY, so those buying a set in the VAP Black Friday sale can give it a shot. Hope to finish editing the photos and writing the steps this weekend. Will blend some official Jaguar documentation as well!

They look PERDY too!

Open it up and GOD DAMN... you just woke up the entire neighbourhood LOL See my videos to get an excellent idea.
I wish I could keep the valves closed over 4000 rpm. I live near the police station and would like to indiscriminately use the throttle without waking up the entire precinct or vibrating their donuts off their dashboards.

OK folks...Anyone contemplating doing this, I created a DIY thread HERE so it would be easy to find later.

Best of luck.
