15 MY v8

based on the YouTube videos I watched I can expect a significant increase in volume?

Has anybody else for the V8 had that done with stock mufflers ?

 

okay so it's much louder now I think I'm gonna add the Valvetronic race setup. Then I should maybe be loud enough. The goal here is constant neighbor annoyance.

 

if anybody is interested i'll get some audio...already a good bit out there but if we need more exhaust **** who am I to deny?

 

A good aftermarket exhaust video is always welcome! Lol

 

If you can use a good mic, even better. A lot of people use the phone mic or GoPro mic, and, while the effort is appreciated, the sound is awful.

 

Yes the 200 cell cats will make it louder. I know on the V6 you can remove the resonator as well and it will be ridiculous loud. I have a V6 with the 200 cell cats and at first I removed the resonator but ended up putting it back on because it was just to much. Don't know if the V8 has a resonator or not though.

Short Clip of Idle and a few 2-3 K RPM revs...from my driveway.

I may drive out and do some more if it sounds good to people. Let me know.

It sounds good now but I'm not done. Going to put VAP Valvetronic Race mufflers on as well.

Then it will be perfect IMO.

 

Did the VAP 200 cell cats change the tone at all or simply make it louder? I have an SVR and am hoping to raise volume some and either keep the tone the same or deeper.
I don't care for the higher pitched, sharp exotic sound.
I tend to like a deep loud muscle car type sound more.
