Default VAP Tuned Convertible | Sunny Track Day 4 Years Later | 10.73@132.67MPH | Video

Well, it's been around 4 years since I have been to the track with this car when it did 10.89@130.1 MPH back in 2022 so I decided to take it back to see how it is doing. Until today, I never got to test the fine tuning that VAP did while I was on the dyno with the car the following week after the 10.89 pass, the transmission tune that they did after and also the anti-gravity lightweight battery. I was just out enjoying the car going through the gears having fun with other cars and bikes through the years.

The car did 10.73@132.67MPH

Amazing results. Quickest and Fastest Non-Nitrous car as far as we know. And a convertible so carrying extra weight. 885 DA & 55 Degrees F so you went quicker than anyone, faster by 3MPH and did it with worse DA, worse temperature and the weight penalty of a convertible!

I only tried it once but I think the best this car has in it is a 10.62-10.65 with a colder day and no sun heating up the track temps either. The car still runs good though 4 years later and still very happy with the setup.

Through all of the years that I have owned this car I have always used just straight 93 out of the pump and when using summer gas the knock sensors are pretty happy with the premium 93 that we have here. When using the winter 93 now I have noticed the knock sensors going off more, so I measured and blended a little E85 and now the knock sensors are going off a lot more consistent with how our summer Premium 93 pump gas does here. It's all pretty easy as our 93 and our E85 is all at the same pump.
