Velocity AP Crank Pulley and California Smog.
I have a 2014 F Type V8 and am considering installing the Velocity AP tune and crank pulley. I'm aware that for CA smog checks, which occur every two years, I need to revert the tuning back to stock. However, I have a concern about the crank pulley.
Even with the engine tuned back to stock, does anyone know if the car will pass smog with the Velocity AP crank pulley installed? Additionally, I understand that driving the car for a while is necessary to set the readiness codes for the ECU. During this process, is there a risk that the larger pulley could cause the engine to generate error codes, which might affect the smog test?
Thanks
Jeff
