I'm curious what kind of info one can learn about their car via the VIN number. For instance, can you learn whether or not a car was equipped with the carbon fiber exterior pack, or interior black pack, or a flat bottomed steering wheel? How specific is the VIN? Thanks for any feedback.

 

The VIN, itself won't give you that kind of detail, but you can look it up at:

They will recreate the original window sticker with all the options.
