Warranty question
Hello everyone,
would taping a new circuit in the passenger fusebox for the addition of dash cams, something that could jeopardize the CPO warranty?
Thanks in advance

(From a UK pov, where we have 'Approved Used' which is broadly similar to CPO.)
Done safely, and to an appropriate circuit, it shouldn't. Make sure to include a single point of isolation with an inline fuse or similar. I enquired when adding extra cameras to mine as it was still under the used warranty at the time and they basically told me to do what I liked and only if I claimed for a fault that was caused by my changes would it be affected.
If you have the dealer-fitted tracker option they will just tap it into the fuel pump circuit in the passenger fuse box, but even though that is a dealer option it needs to be removed prior to AU/CPO and they normally just cut the wires back and wrap some tape around them in case you want it refitted.
