Default Washer Fluid Warning Light

A couple of months ago the washer fluid warning light came on indicating a low fluid level. So even though I have never used any washer fluid (MY2018 with 2200 miles), I filled the reservoir in the trunk and the light went away. Yesterday it came on again even though again I have never once used any washer fluid. I can’t detect any leaks anywhere and there have been none under the car.

Any thoughts? Is it a faulty sensor?

Did you have to top up the reservoir again, or did that confirm that no fluid has leaked away?
Not sure if this is relevant (or where the sensor is) but there's an additional reservoir at the front of the car that gets charged up to minimise timing delay to get fluid to the washers - is it possible that the rear bottle has been drained a bit while filling the front one?

I did need to top it off, so it does look like fluid is escaping somehow but I have never used the headlight washers either. So if there’s a leak I’m not sure where the fluid is going because it never shows up under the car.
