Hello everyone! Recently purchased a Firesand 2016 R with 20 k miles. Awesome car!!!! Over the past couple of weeks I have noticed that the car gets steamed up a lot during/after rain. The passenger side carpet, under the seat and under the floormat is soaked. All the seals on the door/windows look fine on both sides of the car. Has anyone had this problem? Any input will be greatly appreciated ))

 

On some XKRs the aircon drain got blocked and dumped condensate into the left side (pasenger side depends on where your steering wheel is!) footwell. No idea if that could happen with the F-Type, though.

 

Thanks. Car is a LHD, but most of the water is actually under the seat and behind it. Very little is just in front if the seat and under the floor mat. The actual mat is dry on top ...

 

Any idea what sort of "water" it is? Could it be from the washer system, which has the main reservoir in the trunk?

 

Very interested to know what is causing this condition. After you have this diagnosed and corrected please relay that info. We would be very grateful. Do you have a vert or coupe thank you
