Default Went for a drive today - big mistake!!

It was sunny here today in southern Massachusetts, so I figured it was a good opportunity to go for a spin.
I soon found out I should have left the newly cleaned Jag in the garage.
The roads were dry but there was so much dried salt on the roads that it was blowing around in clouds.
It seemed like every vehicle was just kicking up clouds of the stuff. It was worse than I ever remember.
When I got home, the car had a complete white film on it.
Needless to say , the next 30 minutes were spent hosing and drying to get the Jag back to pre-trip condition.
Definitely need to wait for a good rainfall to wash the crap away, before the F-Type leaves the garage again..

I hear ya. I too am here in Massachusetts. Every morning I look at the roads and hang my head in sorrow. I would unwrap mine if the temps were to hit 45 plus for a few, but.....

Hey CJS, I feel your pain. Here in Calgary Alberta Canada we are having some nice weather, blue skies and + temps. I have been tempted to take my car out as well. She's cleaned and shiny in the garage and I'm hesitant to take the chance of all the salt and gravel on our roads! You are braver than I! Good on you for getting a drive in though. Cheers
