Default Took a drive today

Well the roads are pretty clear here and it was sunny and 45* out. Looks like some sleet tomorrow and maybe some snow showers in a few days so I decided to take a drive while I could. I took it down on the lift and pulled the car cover off. Disconnected the charger and fired it up. Sounded great so I turned on the DSC and let the exhaust breath . Backed it out and took off down the road with a lite go peddle until it warmed up. Drove some of the back roads here and had a little fun on the straights. After about an hour I pulled over and filled it up ($3.25/gal). Took it home and put it back to bed. We'll see if I get another drive in before the end of the year .

You inspired me, I got home from work today and my wife said "I need, I need...and off to the store went I" No snow and no rain and 45 degrees, so I took the little cat out to stretch its legs. I didn't go far, but even a little drive is a great deal of fun.

I can drive 12 months out of the year and still put less than 3,000 miles on a year. I guess with our cars that's probably a fair amount of miles.

Same here as New Mexico weather is awesome 99% of the time. Took the growler out on Sunday for a 100 mile drive round trip drive.

Have had the car 19 months and just crossed about 3000 miles since I got it. It's just one of those cars when you want a little luxury, make people turn heads, give thumbs up, and ask "what is it?" that you feel so compelled to get it out. Actually our British Car Club had it's club Christmas gathering, so what else would I drive. My Porsche? Ford F-150 or Hyundai Tucson? No way.

I just had mine for 7 months now and I put 3100 miles on it. My plan is to do at least 5000 miles a year unlike my last car where I only did 2000 a year .

Though we keep it in storage all winter, and only drive it from the middle of April to the middle of October, we're still putting 4k a year on ours. It is just too much of a pleasure to drive to leave it in the garage on nice days. We were considering taking it to FL with us this winter, but thought better of it.
