Hello, I was looking at the front end of my 2015 S Convertible and noticed that these parts were broken. The bottom looks to connect to the lower spoiler or front deflector? I am hoping that this is not a part of the front clip / bumper cover. Neither the spoiler or deflector have a noticeable droop but i want to get these replaced. If anyone could give me some part numbers or some guidance on this it would be extremely appreciated.
The deflector is part # 11 on the main diagram, I replaced mine several years ago, a fairly easy DIY. Part # T2R3562 for the gloss black version.
I *think* the broken plastic behind that (e.g. the two vertical pieces that have cracked in half) is an integral part of the front bumper cover, held on with plasti-rivets and glue.
If so you will need a new bumper cover, part # 1 on the main diagram, and not exactly cheap. And that is before painting which would cost a bunch more.
Maybe just maybe the broken bits can be plasti-welded back together which would be a helluva lot cheaper.
OzXFR, Thanks for the reply. I went in search of a replacement bumper cover and was able to find some already removed from their cars. It looks like the brackets that are broken on mine are not integral to the bumper cover but maybe to the deflector #11 in the diagram you referenced. However, the diagram does not indicate any brackets attached to the deflector. I am wondering if they are parts 14 & 15 in the diagram, reinforced bracket, C2P24129 & C2P24130. The picture that i was able to locate, a view from the inside of the bumper cover, is not clear enough to show how those are connected. The diagram shows no holes, so I am still somewhat in the dark on this.
Missing deflector and no brackets Deflector installed with brackets Brackets from the inside.
