Default What would be a good deal on a 2017 F-Type R?

I'm scouring the entire country to try and find the best deal possible. In your books, what would be a good deal on a brand new 2017 F-Type R?

The lowest I've found so far is 87k.

Thanks

You'll drive yourself nuts going for the "best deal possible." After doing your research and negotiating as best you can be satisfied that you got the best deal you could get. Besides how can one know what the "best deal possible is"? Out of curiosity how many dealers have you contacted. 87 sounds like a good deal to me. Is there a car at 86.5 maybe, but at some point you simply have to pull the trigger.

That's about the same deal or a bit better than I received on my new 16r coupe that was 111k. I did shop in many states also, so seems reasonable as long as you like the car and options.

I got a 16R 2K miles but not registered so I'm first registered owner for 74K. MSRP was 109K (black pack, rhodium silver, vision pack, heated windshield e.t.c). Love the car

How does that work is it still considered a new car and warranty goes by the date of purchase. Also on resale would you be considered the first owner and how do you explain the milage to the next one if they pulled a car fax

Jaguar goes by "in service date" which is the first registration of the owner, whether that be the dealer or an actual customer. So the warranty and mileage clock starts at that time. Similar to most other makes. I believe the dealer only punches the registration for themselves if it helps their quota to have "sold" the unit. In those cases the dealer is the first owner and the clock it running...

Just for reference. I got my 2016 R 'vert (MSRP @ 106K) for 90K back in November. 10 miles. 87K to me sounds pretty darn good.

When you go to resell it the number of prior owners is not of any impact to the resale value.... at least not here in the states. A used car (after he is done with it) is simply that, a used car. # of prior owners is inmaterial
