Being quite a geek, I was happy with the trip data, but after about half a day I switched to media info. Too much was distracting me from the pleasure of driving. But after a few weeks I selected the Jag logo. Keep it simple.
What did you choose to display?
I don't think that's the screen he's asking about - it's the one between the speedometer and rev counter.
Oh Yeah, maybe you are correct. What threw me was the poll about media info or the Leaper. Our '14 always has info about the media or radio stations (track, file etc) and can't display a leaper between the gauges.

Because of my history as a former hypermiler, I need to know how many MPGs I'm getting. It's amazing how fast the value drops when you run the car through the gears! especially when we reset it each tankful.
I've been wanting to ask that question about the center 'dark' screen for a while, now.

I'm a resetter each tankful too, but I have my centre display showing the trip value rather than the A or B values.
I display the trip info because I figure I might as well use that space to display something useful, even if it's only mildly so.
My Golf GTI had the option to display oil temperature in that space, which is great for knowing when the engine is actually warm, unlike with coolant temperature. The frustrating thing is that the car has this information via sensors but Jaguar chose not to display it anywhere.
