Default Are wheel spacers compatible with carbon ceramics

Hello! I saw this thread here discussing custom ordering wheel spacers for F-types with CCB (Carbon Ceramic Brakes) and it looks like standard spacers are not compatible with CCBs as the mounting surface isn't flat?? Is this accurate?

I ask because this past weekend I installed spacer on my SVR with CCB and didn't run into any issues or causes for concern when I was installing them. I'm a few dozen miles in and haven't had any issues. I just want to make sure they're safe as is so I don't risk any chances of things breaking. For context, I ordered and installed these from ebay they seem to work fine! I had to shave 2mm from the stud on the fronts to fit the 15mm, but no mods were required for the brakes.

I suspect it's more a matter of studs and lug nuts being used for steel brakes and lug bolts for CCB, but that's just a guess.

Referring to above topic, I have the same problem and still looking to install spacers (15-20mm) on my 2017 SVR without any complications, so your advice and feedback is highly appreciated.

I have spacers on my CCB 2016 R, but I bought it that way so I don't know the brand. It can be done, though.

Thank you very much for the information
Unfortunately, I am still waiting to get solid information on spacer/adopter in range of 15-25mm, installation for my SVR with Ceramic Carbon Breaks since I am looking for one which I can install without any complications like rubbing inside the finder or need to cut the studs, etc.
In this context, members advice is highly appreciated.

All I can add is that I am fairly sure you would need to cut or grind the studs if fitting 15 mm or smaller spacers if you have either of the stock 20" wheels which came with CCM brakes, Storm or Maelstrom. AFAIK the only stock 20" wheels which do not require cutting or grinding with 15 mm spacers are Blades and they do not fit over the CCM brakes.
Also Steve has got it wrong re lugs and nuts vs lug bolts, the CCM equipped cars still use normal lugs and nuts otherwise they would not have come with a pair of special lug extensions which screw onto the lugs (to help prevent the discs being dinged by a clumsy wheel fitter).
You should be good to go with 20 mm or 25 mm spacers but that is just a semi-educated guess!

I thought they were straight posts that threaded into where the lug bolts would go but have never actually seen them. Someone with CCBs should weigh in. I've dealt with cars that had lug bolts instead of studs and nuts and getting things lined up can be a pain. I'm sure that's amplified by the massive wheels, as compared to what I was working with at the time. At one point I wanted to see if I could order some alignment pins from Jaguar but couldn't come up with a part number.

My recollection is that 17mm is really tight on the cars with standard brakes. I bought a set of 15mm spacers as the safe option even though they required trimming the studs. I sold them rather quickly instead of installing them, and waited to get some wheels made instead.

Interesting about the lug/hanger pins.
For me a quick Fleabay search comes up with only a couple of hits for "Jaguar wheel hanger pins" such as this one: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/15369968...3ABFBMlN_G3o9h
The ad says they are for the F-Type but it shows screw-in pins (ie as per many German makes), the second pic is of a Porsche, and later on the ad says "Fit for: Audi, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, VW, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini" with no mention of Jaguar.
I still reckon the F-Type with CCM brakes has ordinary lugs and lugs nuts and that ad is bogus.
Edit - to answer this question once and for all - does an F-Type with CCM brakes have wheel lugs and nuts or wheel bolts? - we need an owner with the CCM brakes to chime in!

And there it is. I'll quote Rick from "Casablanca," "I was misinformed."

It's also possible I put two and two together and got five. Wouldn't be the first time.

Greetings to all of you
It's been a while that I am still struggling to get the right part (spacer/adopter in range of 15-25mm) for my Jaguare F type SVR (Carbon Breaks) but so far with no avail.
I highly appreciate any support buy providing information of brand, size and all what is needed in order to obtain a set.

Thank you all

For CCBs on the SVR:
So I've been running the spacers for a little while now, No issues. I found out that the reason standard spacers aren't recommended (even though I'm running them. I'd take them off if I ever plan on tracking) is that the mating surface on the rotor/hub is conical and not flat beyond 139mm, Most spacers are 143mm in diameter. This means that if you put a 143mm spacer on the 139mm hub they will not sit flush and there will be a ~>1mm gap between the back of the spacer and the hub, with only the outer rim of the spacer making contact with the hub.

As far as rubbing, with 15mm fronts and 20mm rears and lowering springs, I have noticed no rubbing. It will very rarely rub if I hit a large bump at highway speeds.
I did have to shave a few mm off the fronts for the spacer install, but I stayed far away from the threads. Hope this helps!
