Default Where should this wire go?

2016 R, was looking at the battery in the back last night and found this two wire plug installed into nothing. kind of short length of wire, 5" or so.
I find nothing for it to be in. the R is bone stock, bought new by me.
anyone know ......

I believe that is used during delivery, and should stay unplugged.

Yep, used once and once only by the dealership as part of the new car set up.
This question comes up at least 3 or 4 times a year every year across most of the Jag sub-forums, I have asked Admin to make it a sticky but no response.

I taped it out of the way so that it won't rattle or short out.
