Default White stains under the hood?

What do you guys think this white stain under my hood might be?

My first thought was it might be leaking coolant thats burning off. This car has already been into the shop several times for coolant leaks

Did you hit a gallon of milk? Looks like the fan sprayed something.

I can’t imagine that coolant would leave a white residue, but I also can’t imagine what else it might be. The under trays should prevent anything on the road surface from spraying up there. Does it reappear after you clean it off?

lol not that I know of! Opened my hood last week and everything looked fine. Only difference aside from the stain is that the coolant level seems a little lower, but still above the minimum line

Just saw the stain today. I did wipe off part of it so I’ll see if it comes back with a little driving. I wanna leave most of it there so I can show it to the dealer when I bring it in

Yep, pretty sure that is dried up coolant, a couple of weeks after I fixed a slow coolant leak I noticed similar (but not as extensive) white speckles on some of the plastic parts.
