Default Window Trim

Does anyone know how the window surround trim is attached? I just noticed today that its lifting on the back of the passenger side. There seems to be double sided tape but was wondering if there were any clips as well. I plan on bringing it to the dealership to repair, but Ild rather they put a new piece on instead of reusing the same one if it has the same clips a lot of other cars have. From past experience, the clips that a lot of manufacturers use don't hold the same after they're removed.
Thanks

I would love to know, because I intend to exchange or paint the Window trim from Chrome to Black.

I could be wrong but I bet it's just double-sided foam tape...

I suspect that's just there to keep the trim off the paint and prevent dirt getting in.

There will also be some form of clip or screw-on fasteners to make sure it lines up properly.

Can't say. There is no trim on the convertible.
