Hey - Hello -

2015 F-Type -

Does anyone know what it means when a very light amber colored symbol of the windshield and wipers come on in the main menu part of the Instrument Panel? It looks like the picture right next to the windshield fluid filler cap. I thought it might mean that it was low on windshield washer fluid - but I was only able to pour about 2 cups in to fill it. I think the reservoir holds 11.6 pints.

(LOL - I know it's touted as a luxury sports car, but has anyone else become surprised how much of a big 'Thug' the F-Type turned out to be? Luv this car...)

 

The manual for my MY14 doesn't mention this warning light. In mine, to check the fluid level, you go into the Menu, and select 'Show Warnings.' At least, that's what my manual implies - don't recall if I've ever done that, I just top it up occasionally.

My guess is you have an issue with the wiper fluid level sensor.

 

Nothing like that symbol in my Owner's Handbook either.
