Saturday afternoon I took in a family early dinner at Crispelli's, a pizzeria located right on Woodward near 12 Mile Road. It was literally just one week prior to the the Official Dream Cruise (30th anniversary this year) and of course, my family graciously gave me the window seat so i could car spot whatever cool metal came rolling southbound.
Anyhow, the early cruisers were in place, but surprisingly, i saw 6 F-Types in the 90ish minutes on Woodward, which surprised me. There's more of us around than i realized!
Yesterday, meal got me thinking: I'd love to find a way to connect Michigan F-Type owners. There would be valuable to compare local service experiences and opportunities, along with coordinate some social activities (maybe even plan a location on Woodward for a future dream cruise).
I thought about creating a Michigan Owners thread, if that would be acceptable to the mods and within rules. A Michigan Facebook group could do something similar, but that would be competing with this site, and Zuckerberg has enough eyeballs already. And also, a forum is a better resource for archive than FB.
Great idea.
I live in Farmington hills and would be interested in getting together with other local F-Type owners to share experiences and knowledge.

This is a great opportunity to connect with other Michigan F-Type owners, as I’ve only seen a handful of F-Types in my area. I’m local to the Canton/Plymouth area but would be willing to take part in a social gathering in the near future; perhaps even a cruise of our own too!
I've had my F-Type for well over three years and I rarely see any in the wild. I'm a mid-state Saginaw, MI and/or west coast St Joseph, MI guy and would also look forward to a gathering. Timelines are a little bit of a challenge as I own a fine dining restaurant and I'm usually there (Saginaw) on Fridays and Saturdays. I'm closed Sunday & Mondays so I can always cruise then. Looking forward to a response and proposed date before its time to put it away (usually mid-November for me). Thanks for taking the lead on this!
