Default Workshop manual

I know this has been posted a few times and there are a few manuals floating around, but I hadn't found one specific to my engine size and model. If you want a manual you can go on TOPIX and pay to access your manual for a period of time, but you can only download individual sections and there are hundreds of them !. There are also loads of ebay adverts, but mostly you'll pay $10 to get what is already available by free links. However if you want a manual specific to your VIN, then the following ebay shop will produce a manual specific to your car. The guy has just done one for me, and covered all the sections on TOPIX. You will need to contact him directly, and skip over the long list of caveats on ebay (he has clearly had a hard time on occasions!), and it will take him a week to produce, but I am really please with the result. For anyone that just wants to look at a particular section, then a TOPIX subscription is probably the most cost effective route if its not available in one of the free links.

Great to know, Paul. How much does he charge for the entire manual?

Go to this page for the X152 (F-Type) manual: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Download-...v-d:rk:41:pf:0
Cost 75 GBP, or around $96 US at the current exchange rate.
It looks to be very much the same if not the identical set-up as the workshop manual I got before that particular supplier apparently got some grief from JLR and stopped selling JLR manuals.

Is this download more user friendly than the 500MB one with 48,000 pages? Which I am thankful for but its a bear to use.

probably a similar number of pages, supplied both as one file but also as individual files, so depends on your view :-)

I found it very easy to find things in that manual using both the Adobe bookmark feature and the document search function.

What is the difference between this $96.00 version and the other versions found on eBay?
The one I got is separated into 6 large sections, each containing separate files for each subjects.
You can drill down fairly easily to find what you are looking for.

ok I'll try that, I was writing topics down on paper when I ran across them. I didn't find a way to jump to a section such as 200-12 for example. that was just a random number but when trim starts at xxx-xx I can't figure out how to get the search to hit on that particular number.

It works poorly on an iPad, but on a PC with bookmarks enabled, it's great. Though highly repetitive...

Hi,

I am actually looking how to remove the shark fin antenna on the trunk door roof of my F-type coupe. Can you help me where to find it?

Thx for sharing this Manual btw!

greetings
Joachim
