Default Worst Selling Cars of the Year

JLR can't catch a break. They have two cars on this list of worst selling cars - the Jaguar F-Pace and the Land Rover Discovery. To make matters even worse the photo of the F-Pace is not even an F-Pace. It is a Genesis!

My wife and I have owned two F-PACE - 2018 S and 2023 SVR - and loved each for very different reasons. The BRG S was far more comfortable, had a more attractive exterior (IMO), and could tow our boat but the quality of the interior looked cheap and the tech was old. Our current SVR is, well, impressive in many ways. However, to our surprise, we've been unable to retrofit a tow module as Jaguar didn't make provision for one. The interior quality is great but I find the sport seats to be less comfortable during our many long, cross-country jaunts than in the S. I also hate how the speed limiter automatically engages whenever I use cruise control. And, to my knowledge, the limiter can't be turned off when the cruise control is in use. The S had ample power and sound. The SVR has way more of both.

When I see the level of service I'm getting from the local Jag dealership, I'm honestly surprised they stayed in business that long.

Not only did they screw up my rear bumper and refused all liability, they can't even tell my bodyshop which bumper reference is the right one. Said bodyshop has to guess the reference, pay for it, hope it's the right one, and if it's not we're screwed because Jag has a no-refund policy on parts. They also cannot say if or when they'll receive it.

This and the eye-watering prices they charge for parts & labour mean I can totally understand people don't consider these cars.

It feels you own them despite the brand's best efforts to push you away.

This might be me venting a bad experience, but I feel I'm not the only one on that boat.
