Yikes, Brake Pad Dust is Insane
Does anyone know if the insane amount of brake dust that accumulates on the front wheels is temporary and will lessen as the brakes are bedded in?
If permanent condition, is there a solution, such as changing to a different brand of pad?
I've never seen brake dust this bad...a 10 mile round trip jaunt at very modest speed and no aggressive driving undid a complete detailing--at least for the front wheels.

Search the forum for "Porterfield".
Heaps here have switched to the Porterfield R4S brake pads, waaaaay less dust than the OEM pads.
Only proviso is I don't think they make them for the "base" F-Type 355 mm front brakes, although they are one of the very few that make low dust pads for the 380 mm front brakes (standard on S and R) and the 326 mm and 376 mm rear brakes.
Edit - Stuart from VAP has made me look silly (not for the first time!), Porterfield do the R4S pads for the base F-Type 355 mm front brakes, model AP 1751. Just ignore the diagram on the linked page as it shows the 380 mm brake pads (192.9 mm length) when the 355 mm brake pads are much shorter and a different shape.

Been selling the Porterfield R4-S for nearly 10 years. Super low dust, never get a complaint. If you have a base, these are the ones you need.
