Default S steering wheel badge

It has always irked me that the R (and then SVR) come stock with a nice badge on the bottom "spoke" of the steering wheel but there is no such animal for the S, not even as an option.
A few weeks ago I stumbled across a very cheap stick on S badge for the steering wheel, see here: https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/...05811546210148
Anyway, I stuck it on a couple of days ago and although it's not as nice as an insert with an integrated badge (like the R) it's not too shabby, especially for the price:

It looks much better in real life, the camera flash has washed out the colours a fair bit.

That looks all right Kim.
I don't see much of you posting elsewhere these days; how is the F type behaving?

Thanks Phil!
I post heaps on this forum so you can't be looking all that hard!
The F-Type is behaving very nicely, not a single problem since the small coolant leak a few months ago, and it goes like stink now with the larger crank pulley and tune with the added bonus of some very nice supercharger whine.

I look in here occasionally, reading what catches my attention, and commenting where appropriate. JC is very quiet these days, and I am banned everywhere else.

Good to hear about the F-Type; I would rather like one, but feel that old boys with younger wives, such as myself, look a bit sad in those type of cars; I have spent half my life ripping it out of blokes of my age (68 next month), driving 911s, so I am reluctant to join them.

I love the howl of the XJ's supercharger; the XF is more subdued in that department, but then it has more induction and exhaust roar.

My colour is Ammonite so I stuck a 200 million year old fossil on the wheel where the badge could be

So you aware the yellow part should be green, or is it the camera, looks good , a small piece of cut vinyl to cover the yellow part.

yup, I had the same question - is that green showing as yellow due to some weird camera coloring?

It is the correct light green colour but as I said the camera flash has washed it out a bit.
Ricky, try this link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/S-sp...ceBeautifyAB=0

I like it if the green color is correct

Always wondered why some S interiors have the S decal on the top of the dash below the center vents.

I've done some checking of used car ads and it looks like some 2013/2014 V8S F-Types (ie same as yours) had the S decal on the dash but most didn't.
Conversely every V6S F-Type I have ever seen has the S decal on the dash.

My 2015 V6S doesn’t but as I understand it whatever premium interior options I have - and I have many (including premium leather, leather package...or whatever it’s called) - negates an “S” on the dash or anywhere in the interior. I would have liked an “S” just below the pop up vent but c’est la vie. At least I have a flat-bottomed steering wheel. Given the choice between the two, I got what I want.
