Default ZP

Hi Guys,

So I took the plunge and bought a 2024 ZP. Need some help, I need more "noise", I can't hear the supercharger whine, needs lowering. Anyone made any changes to one of these ? Long stretch I am in Brisbane Australia.

My last Jag prior to this was back in 1997 and it was I think a 1976 Series II XJ6L....sigh.....

Thank you

Welcome!

removing the engine cover adds a small amount of SC whine. I can’t remember if it’s lower or upper air intakes that adds lots of whine, someone will chime in. There are numerous threads here - Mina Gallery and VelocityAP (VAP) are two brands that come to mind.

Lots of threads on lowering springs - VAP and many others.

Gooday, I am on the Gold Coast and have done quite a bit to my v6S.

Unfortunately the noise in these cars is stifled a bit by the fixed rear windows, but I have put on a Velocity AP valvetronic exhaust that dials it up substantially, VAP can be accessed in Australia through Scuderia Autoart which have stockists in Queensland.

For supercharger whine, I tried BMC filters in the stock boxes and removing the engine cover. It delivered a little improvement at higher revs. Then I tried the Mina CAI lower section which has given a massive improvement, I think I would find it hard to live without now. There are other threads about alternative CAI's, the Viezu/Paramount one is meant to be fantastic but when I priced it it was over $2K Oz from memory, and there is also a VAP product either out now or shortly due.

I havent lowered mine.
