2001 4Ltr Sovereign Boot Lid supports
Hi
I've got a problem with the boot lid support Struts. Any slight breeze and the boot lid slams shut. Are the struts repairable or do I have to get new ones? Bearing in mind that I live in Tenerife

You can order lift supports from aftermarket suppliers and have them shipped to you?
The 'ball-socket' mounts beside the tank are difficult to access but I have had luck using a 24" prybar and forcing the lift support end off the ball.
A dab of grease on the new support and 'pop' the new one in place.
