2004 xj8 air suspension bleed down..help!
Ok folks,,,here's what happened...
I was getting "air suspension fault" message. the compressor would kick on, but cycled off after a few minutes.
replaced the compressor with an Arnott ($375)
car rose and did exactly as it should, cleared all codes.
heard hissing sound from left rear bag - replaced bag ($370 for the arnott part)
NOW I'm getting "car too low" indicator when I let the car sit. there is NO air suspension fault light. I start the car, compressor kicks on and bags inflate. Car drives fine, no fault, suspension perfect.
Let the car sit, a four bags deflate.
All the fittings on the compressor and replaced bag are tight. Is there a purge valve in the compressor that could be stuck?
ANY suggestions welcome
