Default 2008 Super V8 windshield washer leak

I pour the washer fluid into the reservoir. I press the button on the end of the wiper controller inside the driver's seat by the steering wheel, I hear the sound of the unit working and the water then sprays thru the wipers. Now, about 2 seconds later the rest of the fluid drains out underneath to the ground in a puddle under the left front wheel well. Went to the dealership for an oil change yesterday and told them my problem and they wanted $250 just to take the car apart. The guy behind the desks says they had the front bumper off but still couldn't find the leak. Well, he wouldn't find it there because the leak is above the left front tire. Last winter I had gotten into some mice problems and they decided to make a nest in my air conditioning ducts by eating thru the filter Well I've since taken care of that but now I think that they ate a hole thru a line somewhere which is why the washer fluid is leaking..... Whats the best way to start this project myself?

At this point, all you need to do is take out the left front wheel arch liner and take a look. The bottle is one piece, except for the filler area where an oring often does not seal. Otherwise, the pump seal can fail, the hoses can get eaten through. I would start there though.

Welcome to the forum glsuperv8,

Two things you should do:

1. check the Reservoir Seal (item 13) and Hoses / hose connections (items 10, 11 & 17)

Of coarse I'd have to take the tire off first by jacking the car up at one of it's points... Is the liner a pain to take off? From that point I would fill the reservoir up, push the wiper wash button and watch where the water spills from?

The liner is attached at the following points:

Three types of fixings are used (see items 3, 4 & 5):

Item 3, the plastic rivet is released by undoing the centre screw so the fixing can be pulled out.

It was the pump seal as per diagram above. Would most dealerships have this part in stock and should I order it thru them?

Pump Seal (item 5) = Part No C2S4603

The same Part No applies to both screen wash only and combined screen wash / headlamp wash systems.
