Let my 08 Super V8 sit for two months while away..
Came home.. Warm air blowing.. Motor for a/c sounds normal..
Had it recharged at local garage...blows kind of cold from RIGHT side vents.. Warm from LEFT side vents...
Made appt at jag dealer...afraid...
Anyone have this happen...cool one side.. Warm the other... Even after recharge...

Hi, Paul here.. 2005 XKR and 2008 Super V8

Super v8 sat idle for 2 months while away... Came back and A/C blowing warm..
Had recharged at local non dealer...now blows warm on drivers side.. And cool. Not cold on passenger side...
Made App with jag dlr. but don't want to be BS'ed... Any ideas anyone.. Help...

Sounds like the climate control valve might be stuck open.

 

Welcome to the forum Paul, I moved your double-post out of the other thread, no need to put the same question in multiple places.

Sounds to me like the old problem of the heater matrix blocking up. Happens a lot and always affects the drivers side.

You can try backflushing the heater matrix, or in the worst case it needs to be replaced.

My XJR has this issue and has done for a few years, and a number of people have reported similar. Always the drivers side, regardless if it's a RHD or LHD car.
