2013 XF throwing lots of error codes
I have a 2013 Jaguar XF (US edition) that started throwing a bunch of codes starting about two months ago. At first they were very intermittent, now they happen about 5 minutes after the car starts up. The car runs fine (unless one of the codes forces it to “limp” mode). I can clear the codes with a cheap OBDII analyzer (except the permanent codes). Here is an example of the codes that can appear on the display in one session:
1. Battery not charging
2. Special modes not available
3. Gearbox fault
4. ABS Fault
5. DSC not available
6. EBD (?) fault
7. Emergency brake assist not available.
To date I have bought a new battery, removed the ECU from the engine compartment and cleaned all the connector terminals, removed the Central Junction Box from underneath the passenger side dash, examined it for corrosion (a known problem) – didn’t see any but cleaned all terminals and connectors anyway.
At this point I have run out of ideas, any suggestion gratefully received.
