this is crank,cam position sensor error but are there only one of each or is there more than one cam sensor? if there is more than one where is it located at thanks for the help

I can see you've posted in three different model tech sections and have to assume you are having difficulty finding the right place to post questions about your 1998 XJ8.

A short story of the fault or failure would help.

The AJ26 only has one CMPS on the 'B'bank (left head).
The CKPS is on the engine side in the lower bell housing (near the steering rack).
