Default Air suspension

Its been awhile since I logged on. I think I have a 308? Its a 2004 Jag Vanden plas L??

My question is the air suspension finally gave up. I can not get it to get high enough to get past "Low Vehicle" msg. Its been leaking for some time now. Pump works. When I try to drive it I get Suspension fault. Which as you know makes the care ride like a truck

I see where vendors are offering Strut replacements. Can these be used to replace the bags? I realize one thing would have to be dealt with is the car's computer and air pump. I have a very good mechanic and he knows my car as his dad operated a Jag only shop for years

When the vendor shows the struts for my vehicle is there anything else I need to buy? The pictures seem to have what I need.

Thank You

M Ruddell

You have an X350 - the aluminium bodied model running from 2003-2009. The steel bodied X308 ran from 1997-2003 ....... and didn't have air suspension.

X308

X350

I recommend a repost in X350 forum for wider views and replies.
