Can I go to a Jaguar dealer and buy a new key and motor control module and plug it in - and expect my vehicle to start? Or is it a more complicated process?

YES - you can go to a Jaguar Dealer and buy a new key - the module could be more difficult
NO - you can't just plug it in and expect the vehicle to start

Do you need a SPARE key and/or remote or is it much worse than that and you've lost the ONLY key and remote? It is a more complicated process but just how complicated (and costly) depends on the precise circumstances.
