On another thread I was asking how to find the colour code from vin number, which I’m told you cannot do. I have not collected the car yet, and have asked the vendor to give me the info, but he tells me there is no data plate on the door pillars, neither are there on my other French car.
The Car is a Daimler 6 4.0 1995, French registered LHD. The colour appears to be either Rose Bronze or Topaz Pearl
can anyone advise me where the colour plate may be?

If the sticker is not there, a Jaguar Dealer may be able to lookup the full vehicle specification using the VIN. The Paint and Trim codes are included in the full specification but older vehicle records are not always available. If this is the case then JDHT (Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust) is your only other option.
