RE: Bad fuel
Not a very nice experience 2001blue.
I hasd similar trouble around 12 years ago when I filled up with diesel that was about 60% either petrol or water ( not sure which!!) from my local filling station in Stirling.
I got around 40 miles or so before the car slowed down soo much with masses of white smoke billowing from the exhausts. Took around 3 hours to get roadside assistance and taken back to the garage to complain. Turns out they had had more than a few complaints. They paid for the fuel system to be completely drained and refilled. The least they could do in my opinion!
I'd certainly take them to task over it and see if you can get them to cough up at least that much?
Good luck
