Default battery

I apparently left something on for a few days and the battery went completely dead. The AAA guy came out and we couldn't open the trunk to get to the battery. Does anyone know how to do anything without taking it to a garage and putting it up on a lift?

Every model is different, so you should always post in the correct model forum to be sure you get the best help.

There is a hidden keyhole under the chrome bar on the truink lid on the S-type, as shown in this video:

Google your owner's manual. You should be able to pull up a PDF of it. It'll tell you in there. I just had the same issue on mine. Mine had a little tiny key hole next to the model badge on the tailgate.
