cancel the cats
Hello all,
The car is a European market 1995, XJ SPORT 3.2 with manual gear box.
In my area there is no Mot (or whatever limitations) on the exhaust system gases.
On the exhaust system are existing one O2 sensor/bank.
Engine-exhaust manifolds-down pipes with cats-(i suppose the small barrel is the cat)-O2 sensor-the rest of the exhaust system, which has the under floor cat.
Canceling the under floor cat is easy and no problematic.
Canceling the down pipes cats is easy but problematic on the behaviour of the O2 sensors-ECU.
In the market there are O2 simulators.
Is there any kind of feed back, somebody uses or used such equipment?
Any answer is welcome.
Thanks.
