I just tried the cylinder wash remedy and what do you know It RUNS!!! I thank all who have posted and answered my stupid questions. As a former Vette owner This xj8 has kicked my butt.

 

hey! great news! Now that she runs, diagnostics are so much easier on everything else eh? Just remember, no short engine starts to pull the car out of the driveway or move it...always let it get it to temperature, then shut her down.
