Is the green key actually green in color to differentiate it as a valet key?
I ask because I only have one key, and no fobs, and the key i have is black with a 3 stamped in to it one side and what's left I think of the cat face logo on the other side.
my trunk lock will not open with key, but opens fine with button on dash and I don't understand how to operate the push button on trunk lid
Your vehicle was originally supplied with:
2 x Master Keys (black headed)
1 x Valet Key (green headed)
2 x remote fobs
A Valet Key can be converted into a Master Key by reducing the diameter of the end (compare the sections in RED - the sections shown in BLUE are identical):
This is sometimes done to get over the problem of a missing Master Key. Luggage compartment locks frequently seize from lack of use. Locksmiths graphite should be used to free them.
