Key Locked in Trunk - It's Not The Valet Switch - Help Me!!
This really sucks:I locked my only regular key in the trunk while I was replacing the trunk microswitch. The new microswitch was in, but the dashboard release latch and electronic trunk badge release still didn't work. So I closed the trunk once more to try it again, and as soon as it shut closed, I thought, "Damn". I have a valet key, but that doesn't open the trunk. I even tried disconnecting the wiring to the valet switch to see if that would do anything. Also, when I bought it used, it didn't have a key fob, just a black key and a green key. So I can open the doors and drive the car, but the trunk won't budge. I called my roadside assistance, but they said that they didn't have the equipment to make a hi-security key, and they didn't want to drill or break the lock for liability reasons. So what's the best way to get that thing open?
Thanks,
David

The only difference between the green valet key and the black master key is the very end …the end of the master is smaller …it has a small ring cut around it …if you know some body with a jag take a look at there keys it is easy to see ..you can grind or file the ring very easy takes less than five minutes ….or get the dealer to cut you a new master from the valet key
