Default InControlApps > Spotify: Music plays through phone speakers, not car speakers

Hello, in my 2017 Jaguar XE, i spotted some strange behaviour in the spotify app. When opening it, it displays all my playlists etc, properly, but when clicking on a song on the touchscreen, the music is played through my phone speakers instead of my car speakers. When NOT connecting my iphone via usb but only via Bluetooth, I can use the car's speakers as a normal bluetooth speaker.

It must be possible somehow to set up the incontrol-spotify-app to play the sound through the car speakers, not the phone speakers.

Does anyone have an idea of why that's happening and if so, is there a solution to that? its pretty stupid to "only" use my car as a bluetooth speaker for spotify, given that there is an actual incontrol spotify app.

Could we maybe move the thread back to the general questions / technical questions section?

I originally posted it there, because I assume it's a matter of software - independent from the model. Thats why I posted it there before you moved it.

It has been here now quite some time without any feedback.

The thread has had a redirect in General Tech Help since I moved it to X760 forum so it has appeared concurrently in both forums. I've now moved it back to General Tech Help without leaving a redirect from X760.
