I need a WDS jaguar ODBii cable. Does anyone have an extra B-203 or B-259 odb2 cable they are willing to sell? Or have a source for buying? I've been searching ebay without luck. There's one or two that have come up, but they are asking crazy prices. PM me. Thanks!

I found my replacement B203 on eBay. I remember that a new one from Rotunda was around $300.00 back when the WDS was what we used every day.
The Jaguar requires the B203 and the later Fords need the blue ended B280.
Is the B259 just a shorter B203???

When the cable fails, it really does not matter what it costs (within reason) if it is needed for diagnosis and repair.
$150 or $200 for a used cable is a bargain if the WDS can diagnose and make me money.

Well, yes.......and no. The B203 is the original 5 meter long WDS cable. In 2004 [for Ford/Lincoln/Mazda] the B259 cable was introduced with CD B24 for the CAN systems and is 2 meters long. The B280 cable is equivalent to the B259 but is 5 meters long. The B259 and B280 cables can be used on all systems, the B203 can't be used on later CAN systems.

+1 on the expense. If you need it to do the job, expense is secondary.

We never had a short cable for the Jaguar so the B203 is it!!!!!

I have the B280 so I am set for the Ford CAN also.

Anyone know what the Aston Martin uses??? I guess the B203 since it is more Jaguar than Ford. I saw a few Aston Martins when I went to Mahwah NJ corp headquarters for training classes but I never paid much attention to that section of the shop.

Aston Martin uses the same B203 cable we do, plus the C248 and C249 probes and the A204 battery cable. They also have a B254 Engine Management cable and a B250 Transmission cable. I haven't yet found specifics or pinouts for those two cables. Maybe some day......

I am also looking for a cable.
Would anyone have a B-254 cable adaptor they would be willing to sell. The cable was, I think, supplied with the Jaguar WDS for use on Aston Martins.

This is an old post, but there is at least one WDS B259 cable on Ebay right now, but it is going to expire soon.
