Default Paint colour from vin number

Hi
As a Brand new member, and not having even collected the car yet, I need to find the paint colour so I can order some touch up before it arrives. I do not have access to the vehicle reg plate, but I do have the Vin number.
SAJDKALD4BJ74****
It is a Daimler 6 4.0 made in 1995 LHD in a metallic gold/ beige colour
Can anyone advise me where to search
thank you
B

You cannot get the Paint Code from the VIN. The 3 letter Paint Code is on a manufacturer's label on the door pillar:

Thank you, I thought you could. I will have to get the number off the vendor. Below is the colour:

This is how the VIN decodes:

The only odd one is PREFIX 10 where I'd expect to see S and not J for 1995. However, it does explain the limit of the information held in the VIN.

I see it has a Paris (75) registration.

Hi
thanks It seems that prefix 10 is the subject of many anomalies according to this forum. Any idea from picture what colour this might be ? From you chart you sent only 2 come near in description steel grey or rose bronze ?

Yes I believe it did come from Paris. It looks to me as if it was a chauffeur driven car, as there is no wear at all to the passenger seat, but fair wear to driver and rear seats. I’m a bit out on a limb with this, but looking forward to learning.

I think it's Rose Bronze but only the Paint Code will tell for certain.

Pics are always tough on the computer but I think that looks more like Topaz.

Thank you for your help, I contacted Jaguar Land Rover, who have confirmed the colour is Topaz M 820.
Quite how you get the name Topaz from that beige colour I don’t know but there it is. There are 3 Topaz listed with different codes but this is the right one.
thanks
